The Royal Albert Hall in the box!
People have always asked me what my first love in life was, to them I reply it was classical music. It is one hell of an experience listening to classical music. It is the life of the privalage, I have always been in the box when in the Royal Albert hall. It is a unique experience, as its not just music you listen to but having dinner in the Royal Albert hall in the Elgar room is insane as well. It is one of my favourite evening in London a truly unique experience.
I have always enjoyed classical music there is nothing quite like attending the box at the Royal Albert Hall and having dinner in style. There is many different types of classic music throughout the eons. My personal favourite is piano classic music, it is quite blissful when you truly listen to it, there have been many great musician's who have learnt piano.
When I was attending the concert there was one particularly skilled lady who played piano. She is called Natasha Paremski she has truly reached the stars as a talented pianist. In 2017-2018 she did recitals in the famous Istanbul Resitalleri she also played in prestigious orchestras like the Colorado Symphony Orchestras. Her first ever recital was in Kansas in the City Symphony Orchestra. Even if that was not enough for her to play she has played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra every year since 2008. I think personally the most striking performance Natasha Paremski has played at was at the auditorium in the Louvre in Paris.
I do look up to her as one of my favourite music living role models in the music world. When one listens to classic music it does put you at ease. It is a insane experience having the privalage to listen to classical music is like eating chocolate in my opinion. Russian music is one of a kind, if you have not heard any before I recommend using the Royal Albert Hall. When one settles in London which is a mega city you have so many varied activities. I sincerely believe that the best night out is having dinner in the Elgar room and listening to classic music in a box.
I have admired many composers in my life, some are lucky to be alive whilst most are the dead ones, who are not so fortunate. The one that springs to mind when I was listens to the Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov opera was Mikhail Glinka. He lived in a difficult time in Russia and this is reflected in his music. He was born in 1804 when Napoleon was crowned Emperor of France. He would have been heavily influenced by what he heard in France.
This particular opera was called the 'Tsar of operas'. When it first appeared on stage in 1834 it was patriotic and provoked pride in this colourful nation. The original composer was Michail Glinka had enormous success it was his first of many 'magical' operas. Russian music became highly influenced and evolved by Mikhail Glinka.
There are many admirable aspects to Mikhail Glinka like the fact that he was great friends with the poet Alexander Pushkin. I love how similar poetry and music can be linked together. Mikhail Glinka who was the main opera of the opera that I listened to that evening was breathtaking. The splendid Overture, which Glinka composed was spontaneous whilst the opera was already in rehearsal.
One can learn a lot of the history of Russia whilst listening to there favourite opera's. My favourite is the Prince Igor Polovtsian dances they are spellbinding. If you have never seen a Polovtsian dance you have not lived ! During the opera they owned the stage. The composition of the opera Prince Igor kept the main composer Alexander Borodin busy for many years. Rome was not built in a day is the expression that springs to my mind. He was known as the Sunday composer as thats when he preformed the dances. The opera deals with Prince Igor's attempts to defeat the pagan Polovtsian. It is a captivating story and it gives a great insight into Russian history.
There are many ways of studying history, sadly in school they only look at two aspects. History is used to help one become an expert in Law. I wish it was used as more of a gentleman interest. It is a great experience to see a country story through music like I did that evening in the Royal Albert Hall.
Over all it was one hell of an experience, it is not just music in a opera but history and music. If one wants a wicked night out I highly recommend the Royal Albert Hall. If you have not been I highly suggest you visit the buildings. Alexander loves the Royal Albert Hall.
